In numerology you have a life purpose or lifepath, aka your spiritual job description for this lifetime.

Find your lifepath It comes from the sum of your DOB, reduced to a number between 1 and 9.

Sums of 11, 22, 33 and 44 are not reduced as they are Master Numbers (indicating double responsibility — superstars and CEOs often have these in their charts).

Many of my clients are millionaires and investors.

The most successful ones, use intuition AND logic to make their decisions.

Before we buy a pot plant, we read the instructions so we can keep it alive.

It makes sense to research your Soul’s needs in the same way.

Knowing who you are, and what conditions you thrive in, is essential for self-care.

Not only will you live longer, you’ll stop wasting time on formulas that don’t work, and can focus on winning your own race.

For example, see this post on Famous 11 lifepaths like Tony Robbins, showing their turning points at 29 and 38 years old.

Know your numbers, beat the odds

If you follow the crowd, you’ll get average results.

It takes courage to excel.

As an ex-scientist, who’s worked for the Australian Government, UN and helped to raise millions of dollars for charity, I’m speaking from experience.

Numbers count.

They are packets of energy, which is why we use them to tally crucial things like money and time.

Once you know your lifepath and fortunate digits, you can select jobs, relationships and even properties, which energise you, instead of draining your will to live…

The Chinese have known these secrets for centuries.

That said, modalities like numerology and Feng Shui should be only used as a second opinion, to back up your decisions.

It’s important not to fall into superstition and blanket beliefs (see my post and video on this topic).

Choosing your dream home

I recommend choosing a house that’s compatible with your lifepath and desires (see below).

Generally speaking, odd number lifepaths (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) do better in odd numbered houses.

Even number lifepaths (2, 4, 6, 8, 11, 22, 33, 44) do better in even numbered houses.

However this is a broad suggestion.

A professional numerologist like myself, would look at your name, lifepath, numerology chart and personal year forecast before matching you to a house.

I also take into account the street name and suburb, but for brevity’s sake we’ll stick with house numbers today.

For more on name analysis system, see my Find Your Lifepath page and my famous people readings e.g. this one for Charlie Chaplin.

To find your house number, simply reduce its address digits to a number between 1–9.

For example apartment 34/ 5 Brown Street becomes 3+4+5 = a 12/3 address.

If it adds to a double number e.g. 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99 do not reduce it further as it’s a Master Number or has the potential to be a Master Number.

I’ve included lucky colours for each house, based on their chakra affinities, but again these are just a guide. Go with your gut!

What Your House Number Means

Number 1 house (e.g. 10 Smith Road) Words like HERO and SPIRIT reduce to 1 in numerology.

Lucky colour: Red (Base Chakra — Action) and Gold (Sun energy).

Pros: Promotes independence and is great for people looking for a fresh start.

Cons: Increases power struggles if people are already distant.

You may need to invest in life coaching or counselling to bridge the personality gaps.

You will be constantly busy.

I often see 1 houses up for rent as not everyone can cope with their fast pace (or in some cases, exposed location).

As an aside: The numbers 13, 14, 16 and 19 are called karmic in numerology because they bring a ‘debt’ with them — see my post on karmic debt numbers.

A number 19 house will bring out your survival instinct and you’ll be tested on your leadership skills living here.

A number 55 house is great for ‘mover and shaker’ types. Words like INTEGRITY have a 55 vibration.

Number 2 house (e.g. 8/ 228 Hudson Avenue) Words like TIME and OCEAN reduce to 2 in numerology.

Lucky colour: Orange (Sacral Chakra — Feelings) and Silver (Moon energy).

Pros: Encourages intimacy, creativity and patience.

Live here if you want peace and quiet.

Cons: You’ll become too passive if you’re shy or indecisive.

Hoarding is favoured, so make sure you clean regularly.

Note: Living in a Master 11 house promotes personal growth, intuition and justice.

You might join a charity or start a feel-good business living here.

Criminals who live at an 11 house are always found out! Words like PSYCHIC and HEALING have an 11 vibration.

Number 3 house (e.g. 34/ 5 Brown Street) Words like ART and PASSION reduce to 3 in numerology.

Lucky colour — Yellow (Solar Plexus Chakra — Power).

Pros: Ideal for gatherings, raising children and open communication. 3 is a lucky number.

Cons: Not the cleanest house, or the best for discipline.

Gossip can backfire in a 3 house.

Play positive music to offset this tendency.

Note: Living in a 12 or 66 house can promote martyrdom, but also cooperative ventures and creativity.

Words like TRANSFORMATION have a 66 vibration.

Number 4 house (e.g. 4 The Pinnacle) Words like SCIENCE and GARDEN reduce to 4 in numerology.

Lucky colour — Green and Pink (Heart Chakra — Love).

Pros: Somewhere you can feel safe and secure.

Encourages commitment.

Cons: Can make you more inflexible and conservative.

Lots of physical exercise will help you find balance.

Note: Living in a karmic 13 house makes work a priority.

Promises must be kept.

Living in a Master 22 house increases negotiation skills and teamwork.

Words like WORK and GAIN have a 22 vibration.

Number 5 house (e.g. 23 Mill Place) Words like LEARN and LIFE reduce to 5 in numerology.

Lucky colour — Blue (Throat Chakra — Change).

Pros: Amazing for travellers, night owls, gypsies and forever-young types.

You’ll always have people stopping by.

Cons: I see these houses up for rent more than any other house number.

They are better for extroverts.

Note: Living in a karmic 14 and/ or 77 house requires good health practices, otherwise addictions can get out of hand.

A 77 house will also encourage innovation.

Phrases like SPIRITUAL TEACHER have a 77 vibration.

Number 6 house (e.g. 5/ 1 Narrows Road) Words like TRUTH reduce to 6 in numerology.

Lucky colour — Indigo/ Dark Blue (Third Eye Chakra — Vision).

Pros: Often beautiful, excellent for families, pets and home businesses. A nest for lovebirds and Soulmates.

Cons: You might worry about appearances living here.

Gardens require more upkeep. Meditation and yoga can help you to relax.

Note: Living in a Master 33 house will attract miracles.

You’ll be drawn to spiritual and idealistic pursuits. WAKE UP CALL and BLESSING have a 33 vibration.

Number 7 house (e.g. 25 Jacaranda Drive) Words like FLOWER reduce to 7 in numerology.

Lucky colour — Purple (Crown Chakra — Wisdom and Trust).

Pros: Excellent for nature-lovers and those who need personal space to write or study.

These houses are often set back from the road or have plenty of tree cover.

Cons: 7 is the ‘monk’ energy, so don’t live here if you hate being single* or spending time by yourself, at least every now and then.

However established couples (or people with strong 7 energy) can find joy at a 7 address. *7 energy is about quality over quantity so quick-fix relationships may not work in this house.

Note: Living in a karmic 16 and/ or 88 house will require you to be forgiving, or conflicts can arise.

An 88 house will also encourage business or education pursuits.

Number 8 house (e.g. 7001 Meadows Park) Words like CREATOR and THINK reduce to 8 in numerology.

Lucky colour — White or Pink (Karmic Pattern or Aura Chakra — Strength).

Pros: The money number in China.

Associated with good returns over the long-term.

Brings power to the owner and encourages philanthropy.

Cons: You can’t cut corners in an 8 house — 8 is like an infinity symbol showing that, what goes around comes around.

Cheapskates be warned!

You must look after this house.

Don’t scrimp on insurance or maintenance.

This is a long-term investment.

Note: Living in a 44 house is not for the faint hearted.

It’s often a military or disciplined household.

Words like COMMITMENT have a 44 vibration.

Number 9 house (e.g. 18 Bay Road) Words like LEADER and SCHOOL reduce to 9 in numerology.

Lucky colour — Brown, Bronze or Gold (Soul Blueprint Chakra — Universal Healing).

Pros: Everyone feels welcome here.

A dreamy space.

Great for international or diverse residents, e.g. mixed families.

Cons: Guests get so cosy that they leave things behind.

You’ll need to have regular garage sales!

Can feel a bit serious.

Note: Living in a 99 house will accelerate your evolution.

You’ll have the chance to work through family and past life issues, so surround yourself with healers.

Some people say that you can change your house number to a more favourable energy by placing a number inside the front door, or getting the address rezoned (e.g. making 6 into 6a).

This is not my area of experience, so look for a local practitioner in these cases.
